Welcome to Class 4
At the federation of Beckwithshaw, Kettlesing Felliscliffe and Ripley CE Primary schools we aim to provide a community of compassion. A place where all children are courageous and who grow together, guided by love.
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to Class 4!
Class 4 is our Year 5 and Year 6 class, taught by Mrs Lorains and Mrs Sefton. We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning, growth and new opportunities as our children take on greater responsibility and prepare for the next stage of their education.
We have a strong focus on developing a love of reading and a passion for books, alongside building confident and articulate speakers through oracy. Children will be encouraged to share their ideas, listen to others and express themselves clearly and confidently.
As our oldest pupils in school, Class 4 will also have many opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and demonstrate leadership, independence and positive role modelling within our school community.
